While I was watching the Lion King at the Music Hall at Fair Park, I was enamored by the song "Be Prepared" that Scar sings. It is such a creative song! It got me thinking that some of the best Disney songs are sung by the Villains. So, in honor of Halloween coming up in a couple weeks, I thought I would share some of the more creative, evil songs! There is no particular order. If you think I left something off, let me know!
"Be Prepared" sung by Scar from The Lion King - This is one of the best of the villain songs! In the movie, Scar talks about how he got the brains in the family and Mufasa got the strength. This song is telling the audience what Scar wants in the movie. It is so creative and uses many big words that adults can appreciate!
"Hellfire" sung by Frollo from The Hunchback of Notre Dame - Frollo's sin: LUST
"Poor Unfortunate Souls" sung by Ursula from The Little Mermaid - This is one of my favorite songs! Urusula is just soooo evil! Her main goal is to get King Trident's crown.
"Friends on the Other Side" sung by Dr. Facilier from The Princess and the Frog - this song is just really creepy!
"Trust in Me" sung by Kaa from The Jungle Book - The python is playing with his food. It is a very nice song and catchy.
"Gaston" sung by LaFou, Gaston, and towns people - Since he is extremely Vain, of course this "evil" song is all about Gaston! LOL
