What our map looks like so far!

Hello Everyone! Today we left New York City around 10:00. We had to go get our car from Stamford, Connecticut. We had stayed at the Hampton Inn Times Square Central. It is located at 41st Street and 7th Ave. It was a great hotel with an excellent breakfast. Today's breakfast was different from yesterday. There was french toast sticks, bacon, eggs and then all your normal continental breakfast items. It was yummy!

Before we could get to Stamford we HAD to go to Grand Central Station to catch a train. It was a little confusing at first. We knew we wanted the express train at 11:04. We asked information and they told us to go to Track 24. We got seated but then the sign in the train said it was stopping at a different station and that station was past where we needed to get off. Long story short, we made it to the right train and were off!

Once back in the "mermaid" (which is what we have named our car because of its shimmery color) we paid for parking ($26 for 2 days) and headed for Providence, Rhode Island. We hit a lot of traffic! Instead of taking 3 1/2 hours it took over 4 hours to get to Providence. Boo! Once we got to the capitol all was well.

Once we were finished seeing the capitol we made our way to Narragansett. We are staying with a family friend tonight! We used YELP to help find us a restaurant. Monahan's got 4 out of 5 stars. It was really great food!! We tried the Clam Cakes which were delicious! I also got some chowder to try and it was again delicious!
