Day 11

States Traveled Through: New Jersey, New York, Connecticut

States Traveled Through this trip: 14!! 

This morning we left New Jersey around 8:30 and headed for Trenton, New Jersey. We only had about a 30 minute drive to the capitol. We got to the capitol and took a few pictures! This is #35 for me!! After pictures we went in to take pictures of the inside. Unfortunately they only allow you inside if you are going to take a tour. We didn't have time to wait until 10:00 for a 45 minute tour! So, we went to the library, used the restrooms and then headed out. 

 Beautiful flowers!! My mom would have loved these! 

 After leaving Trenton we were on our way to Hartford, Connecticut. We had about a 3 hour drive. On the way to Hartford we saw the New York City skyline! We were so close yet so far! We avoided most tolls but we had to take the George Washington Bridge or Tunnel.... it was $14.50! I am so broke now!

After surviving driving near New York City we entered Connecticut. There are so many beautiful bridges on the way to Hartford. When we finally made it to the capitol it was  a beautiful day! We took our pictures and headed to our final destination for the day.

 Capitol #36!!!! 

 Tonight we are staying with my cousins on my dads side!! I haven't seen them in about 4 years! They  welcomed us into their home. We had a delicious BBQ dinner and even had cake for dessert. There were even firecrackers tonight! Then it was time to start getting ready for bed. They made sure to tell us about their ghost that lives in the house. Her name is Mary. As I type this I am thinking about all the spooky things that might happen tonight.... yikes! Here is my family!!
